Week 7

Hello everyone,

Here I am again reflecting on what we've done during this week. The articles about either learner autonomy or one-computer classroom are a little boring, I have to admit. Only because they are not interactive documents. However, the information is quite interesting.

I really identify myself with the one-computer class, because I'm a one-computer teacher. It's good to have some nice ideas to implement with your students. The idea of Keep it simple, for example, has been on my mind all the time. Sometimes I kind of complicate things, and my task objective is not achieved.

I've also learned a lot from the articles about learner autonomy. I've always tried to have my students as motivated as I can, so they get autonomy. When they reach that point, you just give them instructions to work in class or outside, and they do it.

Finally, I can not miss the point about Padlet. Great new tool. Now, I'm thinking of creating a wall and to have my students post some good videos in English. I'm so excited. This course is amazing.

Thanks a lot.

  1. Hi Marga
This week is also full with new ideas about autonomous learners and the one computer classroom. I also read the articles about autonomy, but as I was familiar with this area, I chose the one computer in the classroom to enhance my knowledge in this area. Really I benefited a lot from reading the posts of my colleagues in this course at Nicent. I realized that what I know is really little if compared with what I do not know. Now I need time to go through the detailed attached articles and practise with students different quizzes, games, and tasks.

    Thanks for your share
