Finally, here we are, reaching the last week. It's really sad. As I've said so many times, I absolutely enjoyed this course. My question is if there are more courses I can take. I hope so.
Why did I like it? I've learned new technology tools. The most useful ones for me are the following: the blogs, the rubrics, the padlet, and delicious. These are tools I will be using in my classes, no question. Especially, rubrics and blogs. I adore them.
The readings were great, too. Also, the websites are just wonderful. The one I like the most was Breaking news (breakingnewsenglish.com). I defenitely recommend it.
Probably the only thing I'd like to ask is to have more instructions to make make our PowerPoint slides more interactive. I liked creating them, but I needed some more informations or steps to follow.
I'm so satisfied, though. It's my first online course, and it's not going to be the last one.
Many thanks for everything. I'm so grateful.
I hope to be in touch with you guys.
Receive my greetings and love from Paraguay!
Hi Marga!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on this course being so good and useful. It's has also been the first 100% online course for me and I have been very positively surprised at how well motivated it managed to keep me as I had my doubts about that beforehand. I guess all the materials we read and studied were so well-chosen that we could always see the benefits we could get from them in our work so that kept at least me motivated throughout the ten weeks.
Thanks, Marga, for reminding me of the site Breaking News, that's one I will definitely use in the future.
Stay in touch!
Greetings and love from Finland!

Each week was fruitful with a number of activities, tasks! We learned new technology tools! I am sure we did our best to achieve better results!
What about your participation, I must say that you are such an energetic and diligent classmate! We always started our class discussion with your post :-) We became partners in writing our final projects! Thank you so much for giving your directions and comments on the project!
I wish you great success in your teaching career!
Take care
Gulnar
Hi Marga,
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you feel empowered by all the things that you have learned. Keep in mind that there are many resources that you can find online that will help you continue delving into technology in education. In fact, here goes the link http://www.scoop.it/t/tech-education-1 to my topic on scoop.it. This is kind of a blog where I share articles and tools that teachers can use in the classroom. I hope you enjoy it.
